An elderly 76 year old
British woman was referred to a doctor after she lost alot of weight and
developed diarrhea. The doctors did a CAT scan and found a pen in her stomach.
The doctors of course where shocked and had to remove it threw surgery. When she
was questioned about it, I guess 25 years earlier she was looking at her tonsils
and accidentally swallowed it. For all of you reading this, please do not check
anything in your mouth or even your body with a pen. IF for some reason you do
and you happen to "lose it" please visit your doctor. This elderly lady did tell
her husband and her doctor but nothing was found 25 years earlier. This did not
cause her any health problems in the 25 years that it was in her stomach but no
one knows if it led to her current health problems. There have been a few other
